Everyone knows of an every day Empress in their life. For most people the Empress may stand for a mother or mother figure. Maybe someone is embarking on the new journey of motherhood themselves. Sometimes we meet people and we think they would make a good mother because they are showing certain "motherly" traits. This card could represent a generous person or a more gentle form of authority, something that is more synonymous with a mother figure.
If we were to look beyond a literal mother, maybe you have started a new project or a new business. You give all your time and energy to it, you may consider that "your baby". You are in a nurturing place of taking care of something else.
Maybe you are saying I can't relate to those definitions at all. I'm not mother, and I am not starting a new business. To you, I say look at the healthy background, the pomegranates on her dress, and the crown of stars on her head. The land looks fertile and clear water is close by. You may be in a time of abundance. The land around you may be opening up more possibilities. Maybe you have been waiting for something to make you more comfortable, it could be closer than you think. Maybe you have been feeling creatively or mentally starved, the crown of stars shows illumination to the mind. You may be starting a new awakening of creative or abundant thoughts. Maybe your mind is becoming more fertile and birthing new ideas.
While being a mother or birthing a new project requires a lot of time and energy do not forget to take care of your own needs, whether it is getting plenty of rest or eating healthier meals because you have been ignoring that due to time constraints. It is hard to care for others if you are not at your best.
